engine year?

How can I tell what year engine I have in my warrior found the serial numbers , anyone know

good luck we can give you a general idea of 89-04 or 87-88. does it have a pull starter or a decompression lever on the exhaust valve?

No decompression lever I was told it was a 01 but by looking at the stator plugs its 02. To 04 re doing the whole electrical system so trying to figure out befor I bu the parts

Call yamaha Headquarters they will help you with any of that stuff I call them a lot when I restore older YZs and any other yamaha I get i just call..
