EBC Clutch?

Ok...I always had the stock clutches in my quad till last year.
I figured it was time for a new one..............Its a 87

I picked the EBC, The last 3 oil changes I did. I noticed
theres little fibers stuck in my filter ( I Use the screen type).
Along with the usual specs of metal........I always wrote the little specs
off to clutch plates and basket bits.........LOL

Well anyways, I never seen anything but micro specs of metal before.
Now every time I change my oil I get like a Q-tipped size of hair looken fiber outta my filter. Is this normal or is somthing else happenen in there? Any of you guys ever find this fuzzy stuff before?

i have that too with my barnett clutch but i dunno why? i always just clean it out and figure something will give one day and ill know what happened

Clutch plates are composed of a fiber like material so my guess is that its from the plates wearing.
