put my one way bearing in and cover and now if I try to pull on pulley it is very hard to make engine turn to start it....took electric starter off in case it was seized and prevented me to crank it but still the same....any idea what may cause that?

yes I was...starter is fried so tried to pull and I can barely get it to turn...my buddy who's motor it was tried it and said it's never been that hard to pull...all is in place in there....so now can't figure out what's wrong.....motor is a working one

i had a friend with the same problem but it was the starter clutch spining the starter so if you tried removing the starter and pullng with it off didnt make a difference im not sure

could you get a vid ?
