Dean thats an 85mm piston. Cool glad to everything worked out for you.

^ Dave....I was confused as I'm sure you are......I am 100% positive that it is a 84.5 bore. The 85mm rings you sold me didn't fit, so naturally at first I though the rings were the wrong size. Took everything to my engine guy and watched him measure it all, twice! Sure enough piston is 84.5, bore was slightly outta shape for an 84.5 so he honed it for me for free to match the piston and I had to buy 84.5 xc rings which then fit perfect. The piston has the 85mm forging on the bottom of it but was milled down to 84.5.

Thanks all......Time and money and patience can turn any "crappy old ass warrior" into a pretty kick ass piece of machinery.

Elite would be sweet, I want to get my nerfs on it and get it dyno'd before the vote gets started. What next? I'm lookin to sell my jeep and buy a hard tail motorcycle and making that into a bobber! My search has began!

where did you buy your oil cooler? is it just a generic one i can get at a auto parts store or are they special ones for ATV's?

what is that gas tank off of?

Deadlasts Rebuild 09.......DONE!!!!!!

you should be able to buy a cooler at any auto shop and that gas tank is a IMS over sized tank built for a warrior.

Tank is an IMS tank. Read this post http://www.trx450rforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=4235&start=105 for info on the oil cooler, the last page has my install info on it, all part numbers and prices as well. I got all my stuff from Summit Racing.

Not sure I'm understanding Dean, It won't measure exactly 85mm as it's a light weight forged piston and needs room to expand. Sorry bout the bore situation, I had it done at a local shop, and they charged me $80 . Thats why all my **** goes to Mickey.

^^^ A cheap way to get your cylinder bored is simply find someone who races funny bikes, they always do motor builds before every race so they usually have all the equipment on hand and are very experienced. Nice looking graphics yo! ;D

Looks like the beginning of a monster garage build with that pile of parts.

Do you spot mine?

And yet another goodie to add to the ol' War dog. Not bad for $25 and an hour drive.
