I need to replace the right side crankcase on my Raptor 350. My question is can I replace just the right side, or do I need to replace both sides as a matching set? Thanks

Thanks, I thought you could but had read somewhere on the net that they had to be replaced as a set.

Have you actually done this before with good results?

Anybody with hands on experience with this?

I've never done it, but seems like it'd be easier to just replace the one side. I have a a good set of cases, so I can replace both sides. What would you guys do?

Just replace the one side. I've only changed cases about 10 times. Just know the crank and transmission tend to pick different cases.

Ok, so what you're saying is even if I lay it on the left side the crank and tranny may come out with the right side?

Ok thanks for the info. I'll probably start on this in a couple weeks.
I'm doing a complete ground up rebuild, painting frame and all. So we'll see how it goes. The motor is the only thing I'm concerned about because I've never split a case before.
