heres a couple of my races from the 4th of july celebration back home. i won the sub400 class and took 5th in the unlimited's so it was a good day i think.

the last one is my cousin who ended up winning the youth class.
 
That looks fun as heck. Never saw anything like that. My wife barrel races, But with a Horse and there's 3 set up in a clover leaf patten.

How long is the track to the barrel?
 
i've done classical style barrel races, but usually we are running on truck pull tracks so its narrow and its a lot more run to go head to head. the standard track in my series 150ft, but i have done as little as 100 feet and as big as 300 so its pretty easy to organize. if anyone is interested in hosting a horseshoe race ill be happy to share any info that i have and let you konw how we do it. for anyone interested in running one, they are all over sw iowa in the summer and ill be at every one of em.
