Well just when I got the old girl rockin again I realized that the clutch was uber stiff. It wouldn't move inwards at all. I would pull the lever and it would get mooshy then hit a brick wall. i have taken it apart twice now and am still gettin the same issue. The friction plates are fine and so are the steel plates and my springs are fine. when I put the clutch boss with all of the plates on it in it looks like theboss isn't sitting flush with the back of the basket. Any ideas ?:argh:

There is a washer that goes behind the boss, (I think). If that is cought in the goove on the shaft, it will make the boss do what it is doing.

There is also a spacer that slips on the shaft before the basket. See if there is a problem there?
