Clutch Moto4 350

I was attempting to adjust the clutch today. I had read to turn the adjuster counterclockwise until resistance is felt and then clockwise 1/8 While I was turned the screw counterclockwise it felt and sounded like something dropped off the other end of the shaft inside ? I didnt feel any resistance before that happened. Now I dont get any resistance either way on the adjusting screw.

I've got a bad feeling about this now ! Any ideas please ?

I think it's time to pull the cover.

What would it be that I should be looking for that may have fallen off ?

I think it will be obvious when you pull the cover. The piece should be laying in the bottom
