quick one here.

my clutch doesent disengage . . drove the quad into my workbench lol. .

but anyways I was wondering how much play should be in the rod that goes into the motor case and should I be able to disengage the clutch by hand by moving the little lever on the rod?

I know my terms are real technical but bear with me I justbought this thing.

thanks

i dont think there should be any play in the part that goes into the gearbox, if there is play, that is probably why it isnt disengaging, it should be much tighter, or your clutch cable could be to worn out.

u want a 1/4 inch of play in the clutch to make sure u have full presure on the clutch when its engaged

freeplay is measured at the clutch lever:

Should be 5-10mm (0.2-0.4") at lever end
