charging ?

i put a new battery in my '01 warrior it ran fine until last nite when i used my lights. the lights are aftermarket. It had bright lights for bout twenty minutes then they started to fade. Next thig i know they weren't even as bright as candles. My quad ran out of battery and wouldn't restart. I jump started it and then it ran till i used the light again. I tested the battery today and with the quad running and no lights on it makes 12 volts. turn the lights on and it drops to 11 1/2 volts. So it checked the resistance on the stator and its supposed to be between .51-.63. I got a reading ot 1.2 tho. Everything it the clymers manual said bout not enough resistance but not bout to much resistance. Any ideas?

If it's put of spec, replace it. Simple as that.

Your lights may be drawing too much power, or your stator is going bad??
