Chain Tensioners

I am replacing my chain tensioners on the rear carrier because mine were rusted badly. I am wondering how to reset them so each of the bolts are even?

Get a ruler and measure them make sure they are the same length.

There are hash marks on the adjuster and carrier if I remember right. Just line it up with that.

i am also going to replace the chain so should i just start tightening the tensioners and make sure they stay equal with each other once i have the new chain on?
