i was thinking of putting a cdi on my raptor but i wanted to know if it damages your motor in anyway being it rev 1000 or so rpms more and if would be worth spending my money on....

No the cheap ebay CDI's dont really make much of a diffrence.

If you want a CDI that makes a diffrence then you will have to purchase the dyna for about 275 bucks

yeah i was told already but i am in no hurry i am going to get my cam and springs frist so it can handle the new rpms

even the 1,000 rpm claim is a load of crap, the stock one doesn't even have a rev limiter, so how are they raising it? These CDI's are also known to burn up frequently too.

Yeah, i'm still running the stock one and it gets the job done fine. The dyna is the only one remotely worth upgrading to.

how much will that run and can anyone give me more spec. about the dyna
