cdi box??

i orderd a cdi box off of ebay becasue mine broke.

the guy i bought it from said it was from a 2002 yamaha warrior and i know that 02-04 have the same cdi boxes

i got it and it doesnt fit, one of the plugs are bigger
so i typed in the pin on google 3GD-40 and 2001 warriors came up

so before i go and tell this guy that he sold me the wrong box i wanted to make sure

does 2002 fit 2004 warriors ??

02-04 use the same CDI box. 97-01 use different box and so on

Also be careful of the mounting locations. I thought they would be the same on all years, but came to found out otherwise when I was swapping all my parts from my 2000 Warrior onto a 94 frame, the CDI box mounts are completely different. Had to fabricate a custom holder.

lol... I went from a 2000 to a 94 frame too.. I ran into that same problem..

haha i had the same problem. 4 zip ties was all i used.

The one on the right looks exactly like mine, so yeah the earlier ones are different. Also thats why we can't put the programmable Dyna FS CDI box on 2002s and up, they only make the standard box for us.
