carb question

i just bought my first warrior its going to be a rebuild i dont have a carburetor for it we took the one off my buddy's 2002 warrior to hook up just to see if the motor runs it ran with it we didnt hook up the boot to the air box my question is my 88 has a two cable system when i buy a carburetor will the newer style 1 cable one fit and work all hooked up.

I have a 88 with dual cables, I would convert it to the single cable by buying the single cable carb that the 89 and newer model come with.

If you get a newer carb, you have have get a new cable. Cables are cheap.

If you're gonna get a new carb & cable then get away from the warrior carb altogether. We have tons of threads & some good info on here now that covers the topic fairly well. Matter of fact, someone just recently converted to a 37mm FCR just a couple weeks back.
