Burning oil

bought my Warrior a couple of months ago and have only taken it out 4-5 times. First off, this is my first 4 wheeler and so far i love it. the problem i am having is that i am burning oil. i know it is the rings. i plan to do a full rebuild this fall, but since it is starting to get warm here and my friends all go riding on the weekends i am looking for something i can do to get by till this fall. are there aditives that with help or should i not risk blowing the motor?

Additives rarely help. Just keep an eye on the level and top up when needed until you can rebuild. Welcome to the site.
