Burning ig coils

OK IM ON # 3 .Tested syst found pickup coil out of range and ig coil open on 2ed side and .001 on primary side so i installed a new pickup coil and ig coil and cranked it over nothing rechecked syst found ig coil bad .001 prim open on secondary ...thought maybe bad ig coil so i picked up a 3rd tested 1st
installed and tried no spark and a open 2ed side. Any one have this prob before ?

OK it's fixed stator shorted out the reg that shorted out the coil , the stator had a 75 volt spike very short and narrow took my lab scope to catch it..
