So I have decided I really don't want to go much wider on my front end since I spend most of my time in the woods or on gncc type tracks I do ride an occasional mx track so I want to get a better suspension set up. With this in mind could I make an upper shock mount that looks like the mount out of the dj kit but instead of it running all the way across the bottom just cut it to shape and weld it to the frame? Would this give me the extra shock length capabilities I'm looking for I have already extended my lower brackets down the a arms so I should go up and out to put my shocks closer to a 90* angle correct?
