bigger gaskets?

Do you need to put some kind of bigger gasket if your using the 85mm piston?

Just call Cometic and tell then what you have. I've measured the stocker and our clears an 85mm bore just fine but people have different opinions.

well I went riding today, and it made a loud noise then locked up. When I got back home I took it apart and the exhaust valve was broke in half and a big hole through the top of the piston, the piston is a J. E 12:1 85MM

Were your valves in spec? Doesn't seem like a gasket woulda done that..

sounds more like a valve than a gasket problem

Thats deffinently not a gasket issue. Thats a issue with floating a valve. Not a gasket.
