Anyone remeber the rim paint that you can pull off

I havent been on this forum in a while and i remeber a long time ago some one painted there rims black with some type of paint that could be pulled off almost like rubber? Any one elts remeber this thread if so what was the paint or what ever this substance is. Well i just bought a white mazda miata and i was considering painting the rims black but i am not sure if i will like it then i remebered about that thread and if someone can put a link to the thread or tell what it was thanks everyone.

Thanks i think i might try this on my car rims. Im guessing you dont have to sand the surface you are painting anyone know for sure.

No because its not paint, its a rubber coating

Ive heard that if you want it to stay for a while then use primer on the wheels first

dont use primmer if you want to peal it off use spray paint if your going to use primer just take the plastic dip and paint it thats all there is to it no primer no sanding not nothing just paint it
