So at even slightly less than a half turn out from being normally seated makes gas start leaking from the carb's exhaust hose. Turn back to seated and it stops. What's up with that? I know I'm running a little rich but can't lean it out! Spark plug is black on the tip, only had it in a couple of weeks.

are you sure your not loosening the drain screw on the bowl???
adjusting the air/fuel screw shouldn't let any gas to escape from any vent line

I'm sure it was the drain screw. Damn gotta stop messing with things when I don't know what the hell I'm doing! The adjustment screw is probably somewhere on the bottom. I feel like such a noob!
