so if i got a stock sise piston ill be fine?

is it that hard to put in the cam?

is there any other brands that have good ones besides hotcams?

Just about any other brand will have a better cam than hotcams. FST, Powroll, and Webcams are a few.

I wanna know what in particular makes everyone say hotcams are crap....and no i didnt change my rod....if it breaks....then ill fix what needs to be fixed.

Well what i was gonna say is when i put the first piston in my engine with the stock bore my rod bearings were fine but when i started putting more compression to the bottom end i blew out the rod bearing. I was just gonna recomend checking that out before you reassemble. I dont know how much you have rode it but its just a thought. Also i have no clue whats the big deal with the hotcams mine works fine. But im thinking about building a stroker engine so ill probally toss that cam.

yea if i had more time on the machine i prolly woulda replaced the rod...but its only 3 months old.....so its still pretty new.
