a stick raped my chain

went riding today up at my cousins. get about 15 minutes away, we are twisting though some trees and i feel something smack the bottom of my quad, then again. i immediately stop and look under the case, i see nothing. then i look at the chain... somehow a branch about 2ft long and maybe a half inch thick manage to get wedged into the chain guide which caused my chain to almost come off, which woulda sucked real bad of course!!.. put it in neutral and rolled it backwards and got the chain back on.. never experienced this or even heard of this happened but im glad the chain didnt break

I had something similar but it didnt affect my chain the same way. It did however get wedge so well that it me and a friend to have to pull it out from the guide
