89 getting no electricity

My brother got a new starter put in first time riding after the new starter it runs good for about 2 hours then he shuts it off for 10 mins and its 100% dead not even a clicking noise form the starter what could this be?

Double check all connections 1st. Manely those at the starter because that is what was replaced. Someone may have overlooked something. Also, check the connections at the solenoid and the battery. Do those simple things 1st and go from there if need be.
