87 warrior needs plastic

I have an 87 warrior and am lookinf for a newer frame. But the cheaper way would be to put the newer style plastic on it. Will it fit? I can weld and bend tubing so if I have to fab anything that'll be okay I am just wondering if it's feasable. Thanks.

Yeah newwer plastics will mock right up im pritty sure becuase they did from my 88 to my 2001 but the onlything that wont be the same is the hood wouldnt have the brackets it need for the newer plastics, you could weld them on easy though.

Yeah what he said. I put the newer style hood on my old 87, you just need to weld a couple mounting tabs to the frame and your good to go.
