I have an 87 Warrior, stock frame, A-Arms, swingarm, shocks etc. Have made some upgrades but their all aftermarket bolt on stuff. I can get a newer style (97 I think) frame cheap. What parts from my 87 would NOT swap over? What additional cost am I looking at in parts?

I'm a bit out of date on ATV's. What is the big advantage of the newer/revised frame?

Just found this fourm. THANKS!!

a arms are different and the top light brackets not there on the 87-89 and the front bumper is different too i think, the spindles and front calipers are different to.

the cdi on yours is mounted under the front hood where as if you get a newer chassis they are mounted at the back of the frame.

honestly the older frame is nicer in my opinion because you can change the ball joints in the a-arms.... the only thing i dont like about them is the headlight position
