the 85 will have more power, but the 100 4stroke will be more reliable. i would take the 85, little bit more maintenance but soooooo much more fun and better design with suspension, frame, and better brakes. all around a better choice in my opinion.

All depends on if you want a fast screamer or a bike you can puts around on and have some fun with while having the reliability of a 4stroke

I want some get up but also would like realiabilty . Those the 100 have decent acceleration?? . I don't want to be a nag on the track. Evrrybody flying by me

^^^yeah he's right the 85 smoker will be better for track the 100 is more of a trail bike not much travel like the 2smoker

Now if I want to hit trails the 85 will do fine too?!

When doing the conpression should the motor be old r warm?? Also how can I Do a leak test without blocking the intake and exhaust holes???

doesnt mater for comp test, and i dont know... as long as it has good compression i would buy it though.

a buddy kept a cr85 at my shop for a hell raiser and shop bike and i LOVED it wheelie in all gears and pull the front wheel off the ground when it gets to the power band. stupid fast for lil bikes

It all depends on what you prefer. Would you rather have something with a hell of a lot more speed, or something slow and for trails. It's hard to even compare the two because the are so far apart. I had a yz85 when I was younger and it was a real fun bike, but very sketchy for speed to weight ratio. haha! the 100's are verrrry slow, but they'll run forever. My buddy has one and it's fun to mess around on, but the shocks suck, not fast, and not all that well through trails either. I would take the 85, but I also prefer speed over reliablity.

in my opinnion reliabilty is more what I like cuz when im 10+ miles away from civilization the last thing I need is for my machine to stop working
