yes, it was nice up there. my daughter & i rode a trail from about 2000' above sea level, 60degrees f, up to the top im guessing about 5000-5500 '? +/-. found snow on the north face. f'n awesome ride.

i ran into a similar situation,i tried all the above, in addition i broke an e-z out (that really pissed me off)in the e'ffin screw.this guy has a machine shop in gardena, cal.he has the equiptment & know how to get it done. it was cheaper to pay him to do it than to buy a new part, he did it...

on the 87, do you have the forward /reverse switch,including the bracket,& every piece up to where it screws on to the long rod?(it is located on the right hand side ,under the gas tank, looks kinda like a round circle with a handle on top with a wire on the back). mailed to 91745. let me know...

havn't put them in yet, but i picked up the parts, my initial observation is the stock jet needle kit for 1999 model has only 1 GROOVE (no clip adjustment).yamaha part # 3gd-1490j-10.hmmmnnn..............time to dig out the manual.......
