where did i get the motor? off craigslist, was a guys spare for his trackbike but he upgraded to a gsxr1000. dude even said he'd give me my money back if anything was wrong. the left case cover is scratched from the bike being wrecked but other than that it seems pretty cherry

I'll have to look into the carrier upgrade, I won't be jumping the bike so it will help but i'm sure everything is going to take a lot of abuse

i probably will, i just need to figure out what parts are going to need upgrading, need a hd axle for sure

03 gsxr600 motor

I bought it on a whim, planned on selling it for a profit but I can't help but be tempted considering the warriors motor needs a full rebuild. It'd probably end up being cheaper to swap this motor in. what do you guys think, I already have a turbo bike, do I need another death machine lol

copper rtv will work, holds up fine on my zx9, but for 5 you might as well buy a gasket

4 strokes have more engine breaking, blip the throttle to match the revs or don't downshift when going so fast, 1st gear is pretty low

thats why i said do a leakdown test, the pressure is gonna come out one of the valves if thats his problem

do a leakdown and compression test also

hes got you on power, thats a 2 stroke right? 38hp. your bike is 200 pounds lighter or more depending on if the other rider is bigger, he's turning 4wd so it will rob power. should be interesting

well i'm gonna rebuild it fairly stock and maybe next year i'll add boost
