Guys I'm rebuilding a warrior engine that the crank went in it. When I took the piston out, I noticed the numbers on the top of it were 1yw. My older 87 warrior piston is a 1uy piston. They look identical. But wonder why they have different part numbers?? Anyone have any insight?
Nope. The hole that the excel pump goes thru to the throttle linkage is not drilled on this carb. But there is spot for the excel pump in the bowl. I wonder if the carb is off a big bear maybe.
Currently I have an 87 warrior. So we bought a 92 for the wife. The 92 seemed to run pretty well. Well we raced the two of them down a dirt road. And the 87 smoked the 92 really bad. So I decided to take the carb off and check it out. Pulled it apart and noticed there is no accelerator pump...
Been trying to install a newer rear carrier on my 87. Got the top bolt in, but the bottom one will not line up correctly. What have others done to make this mod work? I want to keep the 87 swinger on there. Anyone?
I have it running now. But both the reverse light and the neutral light are on all the time when it's idling in neutral. When u put it in gear the reverse light goes out and the neutral light stays on. It's kinda bizzare.
Any one have a good Forward/Reverse selector they want to part with? I broke mine off the frame today...frig..Would be nice if it had a good switch in it too!
Let me know if u got one u wanna part with!
Thanks!
OK, so I knda figure it out, Has something to do with the neutral, and reverse switches, also noticed theres a green/white wire that supposed to go to the Lever switch... that's fubarred on my machine.. So I tried to take the switch out of the forward/reverse selector, and the friggin reverse...
