I was running it on the roads around my house. (they aren't travelled much) and are nice for testing it. but anyhow. still does it. hot or cold. is there a possibility it could be a bad coil? or maybe i need to adjust the needle position? thanks.
Well actually i run better times when it is warm. like if i take it and make 3 passes in a row the 3rd will be the fastest. If i let it sit and col of it slows down again. but just testing it here heat doesn't make a difference, it comes and goes with the symptoms as it pleases.
Well, I use the warrior for nothing but drag racing and the old filter was junk so i striped the prefilter of and just use the screen. And i removed the spark arrestor from the factory muffler. Those are the extent of my mods though
Hi guys. My warrior is acting strange. I can take it out and hold it wide open and it'll hit high rpm's no problem. I go to do it again and it runs really sluggish and wont hit the high rpms. I have already had the carb rebuilt professionally but I'm not sure what else it could be. Any help? Thanks
Hi everybody,
I am looking to build my stock warrior into a drag racing quad. I am hoping for some advice on a 366 engine build. It doesn't have to be super fast as I am bracket racing, but i want some pep in her step. Also looking to do some frame/swingarm modifications along with this. But...
Ok, I have been having some issues with my 89 Warrior so i figured I'd replace a few things and rebuild the carb. What is the best coil to run and what is the best carb rebuild kit? I could also use new chain and sprockets. What is the best in those also? Thanks.
Mine is doing a similar thing. When mine does it, it is intermittent and is on and off with doing it. it acts like it will not rev to high rpms when it is doing so.
I'm not sure if anyone will look at this thread but i don't wanna clutter the page with a new thread. Where can I get a new clutch return spring? Mine is very worn.
I bought an old 89 warrior not too long ago. It smokes like a two stroke when its running. Is there any thing I can do to prolong the suffering or am I due for new rings? Thanks
