    Zoom Zoom Carb?

Yes they sent (and advertised?) the wrong f'ing carb. Got the correct one and it started right up. The jetting seems worse though. Ordering some jets now (147.5, 150, 152.5 main and a 45 pilot). Mods are an FMF exhaust can, and a K&N filter with a wrapper around it. Air box lid is not...

    Zoom Zoom Carb?

Guys I'm totally confused. There are ads all over for a slide carb that is advertised as a zoom zoom "performance" carb for the Yamaha Warrior 350. It doesn't fit. The intake bolts don't line up, the carb hits the reverse lever, etc...

    Zoom Zoom Carb?

Sounds excellent... except somehow the carb that showed up in the box is the wrong F'ing one. Sonnofabitch.

    Zoom Zoom Carb?

Ordered mine today after years of carb problems... I hope my experience is as good as everyone else's! I don't feel like jerking around with mine either LOL...

Finally got my next project car!!!!!

Sorry man didn't mean to insult the car, just saying that looks like a lot more work than it's worth. Having spent years working on cars, I've come to realize - less is more. Quads and the like are so much easier, cheaper, and less stressful. Fing with full size cars is mostly painful...

Finally got my next project car!!!!!

Jesus... I'd find the ugliest girl in town and ask her out on a date in your project car. Then I'd tow that thing into a swamp and leave it there with her on the roof hammering a tub of mixed-variety cookies. Next is the easy part... doing nothing but walking away realizing how much BETTER...

    Feel like I'm drowning

Dude.. there are a million girls out there. Actually, 3.5 billion to be exact. As soon as you find a new hottie to kiss, you'll be forgetting about the old one. It's clear you're way too young to worry about losing one - it just seems that way. It always hurts, always. But... there are...

Modding the Warriors Dimensions - All Directions

Hilarious... I didn't even know what the Wolverine was. Shows the depth of my knowledge of the quad market. It's funny getting into a new hobby, most of my hobbies I've amassed 20 years of history and knowledge about. Stepping new into quads brings this lack of knowledge painfully into...

    Suspension Rebuild

Your suspension mods are very close to what I'm considering / planning now. Did the rise in ride height from the long rear swing arm bother you? My quad is sitting pretty level now, I don't think I want any forward rake... but I definitely want the longer rear arm. I need to see what my...

Modding the Warriors Dimensions - All Directions

Gentlemen, My build goals may be different than many, but I'm building my Warrior to be a vehicle more capable for steep, rutted trails, with more clearance, traction, stability, etc for a sporty quad that is reliable and quick, but not in the direction of a low-slung track machine. Almost in...

How to paint the body kit

I tried a wool pad on a DA polisher as someone suggested here and it didn't do ****. Then I tried a heavy cut foam pad and heavy cut compound, and it was working but slowly. Ironically my buddy suggested a Magic Eraser, and it worked as well as the messy polish but with much less effort. So...

Bit of a new engine knock (not predetontation)

Gentlemen, Had the quad about 1.5 years or something, and there's a new knocking noise coming from the motor. Seems like it could an out of adjustment valve train, or maybe a timing chain issue? Definitely seems to be coming from the top of the motor. Any pointers on where to start would be...

Mobil 1 10-40w oil in my warrior for summer?

What does the manual say? I think 20W-50 wet clutch? I'd go by the manual first, anything else is going to be anecdotal....

Affect of +2 A Arms on effective spring rate

Great to know, thanks! And yes, placing the extra length outside the spring mount thus giving more mechanical advantage is a very precise way to describe the question/answer. Damn I'm rusty!

    Project Bear Tracker Restoration

I went straight out and tried this.. Didn't do ****. Must need a true "burn the paint off yer car the second you look away" rotary. My D/A Porter Cable is wonderous for paint. Maybe not so much for beat to hell old quad plastics..
