What size should the jet needle be on a HMF slip on and a K&N filter ?

The dealer installed first a 160 then a 175 but he said that both were small and then installed a 190, and when i went to the dunes i notist that it was acting strange like the engine stops and work again at the 5th and 6th gear.

So could somebody tell me the perfect size or this is normal??

And sorry for the spelling :p

the jet needle has nothing to do with the main jet as the dealer was changing.
You should tune the low side first which is the pilot jet, then main and needle. We do this because of the way the main effects fuel flow on the needle. They go hand in hand.
Easy way to tune it is to start rich on the main jet and work down. So the engine will sputter on the top and and not run clean. Back off one size at a time until it revs cleanly all the way to the top of the rpm band. Stop there your right on. Then set the needle by doing the same.

Thanks for answering :)

And I'll see what could i do about it.

if the dealer did it and u payed for it take it back in and explain and tell them to fix it.
