stator help

does any body know what a stator pickup coil is? if so do you know how to test it i have a 88 warrior-thanks

you will have to have th ewhole stator checked, take it to a dealer they can usually check it for free. I had mine checked and it ended up being about half of what it was suppose to be reading.

ok but i dont a have a dealer very close so i dont know what to do and i am getting very depressed because of my warrior

ok guys i finally found my problem, turns out the flywheel i bought along with my starter clutch was different than the 1988 flywheel. therefore not sparking at the right time and stuff, im so releaved now!
