After I begin tearing engine down to rebuild .I soon found i need a special tool to pull the flywheel off .So at this point I'm stuck i want to make one being it is a simple device .Does anyone know the nut size need to screw onto the flywheel .I went around trying to find one today but that big of a metric nut is hard to find also I don't wanna pay 50 bucks for something I will only use one time .

Has anyone tried using a standard flywheel pull or will it damage the rotor?

Thanks in advance .~Benjie~.

Dont use a jaw type of puller (unless you wish to buy a new flywheel)!!!

I took mine to a local Yamaha dealer -in and out in 10 minutes. $15

r u sure u need to take it off i split the case and i didnt need to

The local yami dealer took mine off for free. But they also have an aftermarket yami puller for like $30.
