Backfiring - no power

Hi everybody

Just picked up a 2003/4 Warrior for my son. I test drove it and it worked fine. Back home it started backfiring. I cleaned the card and airfilter, but not change. Its good for 50m and starts backfiring again (no power)
The bike has FMF exhaust and K&N airfilter

Can someone help ?

ok does the header pipe get cherry red when running for a little while u can tell at dark or dusk if so the piolet jet could be out mine did that to me when it would get hot it would back out

was it rejeted after the pipe and stuff was added? if not thats your problem

The clutch switch cable on the clutch lever had a bad connection. (on and off).
Its running fine now !!!
