They were powdercoating some other stuff in the same color, so mine got done early. Picked it up today. Looks coooool!

It's just a simple spring loaded plunger switch, that makes a connection to kill machine. It's so UNcomplicated that I wouldn't think any brand would be much better than another.

Update... The frame should be home from the powdercoating shop within the week. Bumper and skidplate is on the way. Woohoo

A gusset kit? I don't think my riding style is that aggressive, but I am making a pair of rails for the bottom length of the frame. They'll serve as a reinforcement as well as some type of skid/slider rails. Also considering a reinforcement in the front A-arm area. I decided to powdercoat...

Well, I had some time to get in the garage today. Bike is completely stripped. Nothing left except the bolts. I put them all back into their respective holes, to label them accordingly. I took a buttload of pictures. Will try to post some later this week.

What brand does everyone here prefer for their clutch. What would ya recommend for me? Keep in mind, I'm mellow. I'm not building a race machine, just a freshened up stocker. Maybe a pipe, a few more cc's and a jet kit, but otherwise, this isn't a monster. in fact, the only reason for a clutch...

AAhhhh! Well, after I got the motor out and stripped some more shtuff off of the frame, I found a bend. Just in front of the engine area, on one of the 2 main bottom bars. (the low, horizontal ones) Obviously, I'm gonna straighten it, but I am also thinking about "sleeving" those tubes as...

I'm casting my vote for NOT A BIG GUN. When I got my exhaust from them, years ago, everything bolted up just fine. The problem was that the length of the muffler was insane. The thing stuck out a few inches PAST the grab bar. When I called the company back, his reply was like, "Oh well...
