Yamaha warrior throttle problems

So I replaced the intake boot that cracked. Cleaned out carb. Fires right up. Runs fine until you start hitting it, and then it starts revving like crazy and keeps pushing even when off the throttle. My throttle cables seem fine, did I put my carb back wrong? Or tug too much on the cable when I removed the carb? I didn’t take off the accelerator assembly.

Literally just happened to a friend in the same situation. Pulling the carb and tugging things around the cable got a little buggered up at that box that splits it. Pretty sure he glued the cable housing back together
