Vapor Tachometer - Trail Tech

Hey, Trail Tech has a new system coming out soon - Vapor Tech Tachometer. They have a short video of this on their website, but I haven't been able to find out any information about this other than the video.

Has anyone seen any articles/reviews/previews about it? Anything I can read anywhere that gives more details or explains how they are reading the rpms?

I don't like that RPM lag time displayed in the digital tach; that would piss me the hell off - unless it gets better forget it.

There is definitely some lag time in the video, but for the most part it appears pretty responsive. I'd just really like to learn more about it - installation, how it works etc. It would also be great to learn more in regards to expected variance/delay.
