So I just purchased a new carburetor for my 1989 warrior. Got everything hooked up and it looks good but when I hooked up my throttle cable it’s coming up about an inch (maybe a little less) too short. Made sure it’s not bound on anything and I have both of the outer connectors tightened all the way. Is there any way I can re jet to compensate or is there a longer cable I should be buying along with the new carburetor? Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated 👍

Do you have an old one to compare it to?
The old one is torn apart and jammed. That’s why I just went ahead and got a new one (main reason being that the throttle was jammed) and when I got in there everything was rusted out. I’ve heard the problem I’m having is common with these zoom zoom carburetors but I haven’t found any answers on what to do about it.
