I recently purchased a 1991 yamaha warrior. I replaced the timing chain and timing chain tensioner. Once I started it, it ran fine for about 30 seconds then it cut off. When I tried starting it again the crank just spins and spins almost like it's not catching. Does anyone know what might be causing this? The one way seemed fine when put back on. Thank you in advance for the help.

Check your flywheel keyway didbt break or strip, the timing marks will look ok but the marks won't be clocked to the crank correctly

Found the problem. The bolt that holds the cam sprocket to the cam was loose. But now it's making a ticking/knocking noise. Any ideas on what it might be?

There's a chip in the cylinder head causing the exhaust leak. I'm buying a new top end and cylinder head so hopefully that fixes the noise and smoke.
