I have a 1997 Wolvy and the plastic is fading to a dull pink color(previously red). About 2 years ago I took off the fenders and took some steel wool to the whole thing and basically rubbed off the top layer of faded plastic. 3 hours later it was looking great, not showroom color but definitly a darker fuller red color. Now that it is fading again I was wondering if anyone had any better solutions that I could use to make the color come back to life? I have already tried tire cleaner also and it works good for about 2 weeks and wears away.
Solution to Faded Plastic?
