whats the point of putting these on because the warrior already has air blowing around the top end anyways.

The purpose of oil cooling is to bring oil into the little box in front of the engine and the air cools it down then puts the cool oil back in the engine and takes more.
 
It has everything to do with surface area.

The greater the surface area (i.e. ea fin of the oil cooler)used to dissipate heat, the more cooling is done.

It wont heat as fast, and when heated wont over-heat, or need to be changed as much; larger volumes of oil wont break down as fast.
