Ok this is where my ideas starts to skew... Screw the old 348. I would go with a 2nd gen Yami 490 big bore. (85' to 90' for those keeping tabs)

Cylinder Head: Stock, modified chamber..
Gaskets: Piston: Moose gaskets. Weisco prolite .080 (That makes 511cc's)
Cam|Valves Springs: N/A
Bore & Stroke: Bore 89mm, stroke 82mm.
Displacement: 511cc
Carburetor: Keihin PWK 39.
Spark plug: Depends??
Stator: Stock
Shifter: MSR
Air Filter|Box: Custom.
Header|Silencer: Custom everything!
Clutch|Plates|Springs: EBC HD kit.
Gearing F|R: 14/38
Chain: Renthal O-ring.
CDI|Killswitch: Stock.
Cooling: Air. :)
Other: Lots of custom powder coating, and vinyl graphics.. But it would look original when all complete.
