Back wheels locked up!

Ok so I went out riding everything was going fine. Came out the woods and hit the road to get home and all of a sudden the back wheels locked up. Motor still runs and can still switch gears. Had to pop the master link out to push it the rest of the way home. Any idea of what is wrong?

Time for a tranny rebuild. Either that or your clutch is locked up.
