I have two 1999 Yamaha warriors back to back serial numbers one of them I cannot get the starter to turn over I got a green light neutral switch on I bypassed and I can get the motor starter to turn over but to use the push button. It will not even turn over what am I looking at I've been chasing wires for a week I figure with the green light on neutral safety switch and that has to be working. Should I replace the starter solenoid? Thank you any help would be appreciated

Yeah I bought a new solenoid and also a starting relay 20 bucks total delivered see what that does I can disconnect the blue and white wire and the small voltage wires off the solenoid and if I put power to them the motor turns over

Okay I put a new starter solenoid and starter relay switch installed still no press button to turn over the starter but when I jump the starter solenoid with a screwdriver I've got spark to the spark plug and everything else but just will not work with pushing the button am I just chasing dead ends. Do I spring for a new push button starter or is any way to test it appreciate any help out there have a good weekend happy trails

Just ordered a new starting button combination headlight for 25 bucks
