Mine used to do that, also when I put in first when real cold. The clutch cable was worn out and not fully disengaging. Does it jump when you put it in reverse?

Don't get me wrong, I don't regret getting the 700. But the warrior was such a great machine. Trail cruising, wheelies, and just screwin around on. That thing was unstoppable. I'm gonna be in the market for an older one prolly next winter. Looking for a cheap beater to rebuild. Maybe I can make...

I asume when you got it bored you gave the shop the new piston to measure. I made the mistake of trusting an ebay seller when I bought a new cylinder. I installed it with a stock piston and got one hell of a smoke show. Turns out it had been bored .040 over. I felt like and ass.

Could be the parking brake switch. It activates a rev limiter when it thinks the parking brake is engaged. Depending on the year you could either unplug it or you have to connect the 2 wires together. Can't remember which years are which.

I raced one harescramble last year. I had to borrow my buddies raptor cuz my warrior was waiting on a top end rebuild. I didn't do great but it was my first race. I think my number was 19. I like this pic because I'm passing my buddy on his LTR on a jump.

I had a banshee shock on my warrior and it was a huge improvement over stock. I hear the 01 raptor 660 is also very good and the remote rezzie makes it a bit easier to install.

Hey guys, been a while. Been upgrading a bit as I keep breaking stuff. Been riding MX more lately and started goig bigger. Already replaced the rear axle and wheels (bent), and subframe (broke). Last weekend I broke my ankle in 3 places and dislocated it. I'm laid up for 8 weeks now.

I was going through the garage and found my stock tie rods laying around. They are perfecly straight. From 2000 warrior. $15 shipped for the pair within the US.

Its bent upwards. You can see in the pic the side bars should be in a straight line. It is bent evenly so it just angles up, not all crooked like.
