    American Star heims too tight

I found its a common issue on some ASR joints after some use. But never found an answer besides "try again" with another set. Mine are brand new. 3 of the 4 are way too tight. I tried cycling them with chain lube, and allowed it time to dry. It was a bit looser before the lube dried up, then...

    New build new menber thanks

Who made that wide front shock mount? Is it a custom or bought one? It looks like it mounts them way more vertical and allows much longer shocks. What kind of droop does it have? Have you rode it yet like that yet?

    2007 Raptor 350 build

What is everyone's opinion on the Streamline 7-way rebuildable "stick" steering stabilizer? Found one new for just over $100. Foot pegs came out great! Hopefully my yard is dry enough to take it out this weekend. I can already assume the huge widening arms will make it feel like a...

    2007 Raptor 350 build

To be honest, I'm a cheap-a$$. For longevity, wear wise, I was looking to do a hot cams stage 2, which I have found is close to a web .390, with a more stock ramp angle. I want to swap a stock cam sprocket pin when I install it to avoid the broken pin issue they have. Only reason my cheap niche...

    2007 Raptor 350 build

I'm bored with the bad weather, and thought I'd share on this forum. I've gotten a ton of info searching here. 2007 Raptor 350. Original engine condition unknown. I immediatly swapped a rebuilt 87/93 warrior assembly. Destroyed the cam and head, swapped a rebuilt '87 head on with diy port work...

    Web 384 vs Duncan X1

I'm going all in on seeing how much power I can get on a stock bore size. Raptor 350 with a 11:1 piston, ported head, FCR 37 on a custom full bore intake adapter, HMF muffler. Got a knock-off Ninche cam, currently. Looks to be similar to a Hotcams stage 1. I ride full throttle, everywhere. I...

Any engine machinists on here? Valve seat questions

Tearing into rebuilding a '87 head. The intake valve mating surface seemed too large. Measured 2.1mm, when .9-1.1 is spec. Upon further looking, the intakes 45 degree mating surface is lopsided. Measures 1.8mm on one side, and 2.8 on the opposite. Clean cut with no hammering effect visible.On...
