    350 4x4 fender flares

Shameless plug; I just listed these on ebay. OEM accessory fender flares. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121662924874?item=121662924874&viewitem=&vxp=mtr

Grizzly 700 wheels on wolveriner 450

From a previous post of mine. "The offset on the griz rims are 5+2 front and rear. The wolverine rims are 5+2 front and 2+5 rear. So the fronts are the same but you would need 3inch spacers to bring the rear rims back out to the original width of the wolvy. In other words if you put those...

    1st Gen 350 Fender Flares

Those look great man. These things do kick up more mud than a lot of other wheelers. The spray off the front tires always seems to get in your face. I scored a set of OEM yamaha fender flares on ebay last year. Haven't put them on yet though.

    Parking brake on 05 wolvy

Ha, no. I have never been able to get that stupid thing adjusted right and I'm no dummy when it comes to this stuff. I'm putting new pads on the rear soon so I will give it another try. Previously if I adjusted it to where it actually worked the regular brake would be screwed up. I'm used to not...

What offset do I need for new rims?

Wolverine rims are 5+2 front and 2+5 rear. So you're good.

    Battery options

I've had a sealed gel battery for three years and it works great. Anyone I know who has tried a lithium battery hated them. They don't work well in cold weather( I see you're in Wisconsin) and just don't seem to have as much cranking power as a similarly rated lead acid battery. How long a lead...

    Can you use smaller wheels?

Gotch ya. Thought you meant just replacing the fronts. Just keep in mind that smaller tires will essentially lower your top speed, the machine will wind out sooner. It probably will make it feel snappier through the gears though. I always figured I would go with 25 inch tires when the time...

    Can you use smaller wheels?

If 11 inch rims clear your front brake rotors you could use them but I don't know if they will. You absolutely can not run different diameter tires on a four wheel drive machine. The front tires would turn at a different ratio than the rear and bind up on you, eventually destroying some part of...

    New ride quick question

The only reason you would really go down from stock jet size is if you live at a very high altitude where the air is thinner( like over 5000ft above sea level)

    New ride quick question

Does it bogg right off idle then run good at high rpm or does it bogg once it reaches high rpm? the stock jet would be a 143.3(stamped on it) A dyno-jet kit comes with the following main jets, 144,150,155,160. So who knows what a 130 is, could be a different brand of course. Do the extra jets...

    Ball joint tie rod questions

Have someone turn and hold handlebars all the way to one side so the steering is "locked", grab a wheel and try to move it back and forth(the same way it would move if you were steering the machine) look for excessive play in the ball joints. Should be pretty obvious if one or more are shot...

    Quick tire question

2001 Wolverine Makuni carb vent question

That's just a vent tube. Mine comes up through a hole in that flap of rubber near the airbox intake and is clipped togeather with the vent tube from the diff. It's just meant to keep them at the highest point to avoid water. Let me know if you need a pic.

    Clutch springs???

It was a good improvement for me because I had a stock filter before I put it in. You prob wouldn't notice any if you already have a k&n, it's just a much better fit. Filter attaches with a hose clamp so you can use that style k&n or high flo foam filter, which i use.

    Clutch springs???

I'm curious about the same thing. I imagine it would be like a drag car with a high stall speed torque converter (engaging at a higher RPM). Anyone?? Wolvy, I have pretty much the same power mods as you and no winch, it's still real hard to get the front wheels off the ground. I did get some...

    Rear shock

You bought a raptor shock? Did it fit? I know what ya mean about the stock one, I have elkas on the front and wish I could find something as plush for the rear(but cheaper).200lbs and still get spanked with the rear on softest preload setting. needs better valving.

    Rear shock

The only one I've heard of was the WC member that used a raptor 660r shock but if I remember correctly he had to cut out a bit of the toolbox to clear the shock reservoir. I was thinking of trying one out myself but maybe trying to use a heat gun to put an indentation in the tool box to clear...

    Warn 424 HELP HELP!!!!

This may be a long shot but most good hardware stores in my area that have the self serve drawers full of nuts, bolts etc. also have loose ball bearings. the problem is that the one on the 424 is really small. Don't know if they'll have one that small. If we knew exactly what size it is I know...
