    DG front bumper

Doesn't take much. I was turning around on a gravel road, I rode the quad up the bank a little and it tipped onto it's side. I was going like 1 mile an hour. We flipped it upright. The bumper was bent at like a 15 degree angle. I just pull on it to straighten it out. (should I be able to bend a...

    DG front bumper

I hope you get one.... I had one on order thru my dealer for about 9 months. Always back ordered - every few weeks a new ship date - but it never ever came. Finally got my money back. I'd like to get one, as the stock bumper bends everytime you sneeze. It's terrible. The DG bumpers look much...

    sand paddles

FYI - My buddy put Sand Stars on his quad. The ATV would shake pretty bad. He aired it down to 4 PSI and it stopped shaking. Air pressure was too high.

New 06 Wolverine 450 for wife.

I think I misread the title of this thread... "New 06 Wolverine 450 for wife" I'd love to trade my wife for a new Wolverine 450... er, um, nevermind... I didn't really say that.

    I have a bolt problem...

FYI - I figured out what those bolts were... :( They came off the exhaust on my Z400. Somebody put them in the pile with the Wolfy bolts....

    I have a bolt problem...

Don't you hate it when you work on something and have a few parts left over? A friend of my son's rode our '07 Warrior 450 and somehow broke the shift lever bracket. I got the replacement bracket for the shift lever for the Wolverine 450 (only a $12 part). I had taken it apart last...

    Elka Shock Problem

Update: Last week my buddy installed his shocks. Bolted right up, no problem. I got my new bushings in the mail this week. They were real easy to swap out. After that, the shock pin fit like a glove. 15 minutes and I had the rear shock swapped out. Tomorrow I'll give them a test...

    European Warrior

I thought some of you might find this interesting. I was traveling in Europe last summer. I was surprised to see several ATVs driving around on local roads. When we stopped at Neuschwanstein Castle, we found this guy parked nearby. Extras include lighting, turn signals, reflectors, license...

    My videos posted elsewhere

Hi! Just saw this thread. I'm not sure what all the hubbub is about. I hope you aren't getting the wrong impression of our group. We are not a bunch of holier than thou riders. I posted the video because it is pretty cool and we have several new Wolverines in our group. The comment about...

    Cool. Have fun!

    Exhaust

Just be aware that ripping the guts out make the exhaust illegal to ride on most public lands. That's a $239 ticket here in Oregon. Money better spent on a proper exhaust...

    Elka Shock Problem

Update - Still waiting on the part they said they were shipping me. I talked to another tech and he indicated the brass insert was easy to swap out. My buddy also received his shocks - but hadn't had time to install them yet....

    Elka Shock Problem

I called on Monday, the tech support person was busy on the phone so I left a message (name & phone #). After 4 hours of waiting, I called back and nobody answered the phones at all (this was during their normal business hours). Really weird, as I have contacted them a dozen times over the years...

    Steering dampner

Steering dampner will definitely help with this problem. There's a bunch of cheap steering stabilizers running about in the ~$125 range. If you look at them closely you'll most look exactly the same. That's because most of them are the same stablilizer with a different decal on them. All of...

Beach Ride - Need Rust Prevention Tips

Saw nobody posted.. so I thought I'd make a comment. Don't worry about needing to protect your bike when riding at the dunes. Just keep the bike away from the ocean (stay out of the wet sand). If it does get a bit wet, just make sure to wash it when you get home. A few days at the beach...

    Elka Shock Problem

Anyone here have the Elkas on their new Wolfy? I just got a full set for my 2007. The fronts bolted up no problem. But the rear shock doesn't fit right. For some reason, the stock shock is held in place by a pin (not a bolt) at the lower shock mounting point. When I went to put the Elka...

    Tire pressures..... I'm SO confused!

The less air in the tire, the wider the footprint. That not only means better traction in mud, but also snow, sand, and even gravel and loose dirt. Also, lower pressures absorb vibration (like a trail that is all rock) and also when your tire hits a big rock it absorbs more of the shock. But...

    Brake Lines?

Hmm.. not listed in the 2007 catalog (only the YFM 350). Checked Streamline and they don't have it listed, either.

    Rear Suspension Improvement?

The rear suspension on the new Wolfy 450 leave a lot to be desired. It's a poor performer in whoops - serious butt spanker. Adjustments are about useless. Anyone here done an upgrade to an after market shock? If so, what brand and how do you like it?

    reverse overide?

Fix is supposed to be the same as this one: http://quads.ca/tech_kodiak_reverse_rev_limiter_bypass.htm
