    2003 350 Rear Axle Seal

Anyone done this? My rear seal is bad; I can see the leak on the rear diff. It looks pretty straight forward, but I've done enough wrenching to know it doesn't always go as easy as the steps in the manual indicate. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks guys.

2004 Wolverine-Shocks and Rear Rack question

Sorry to bump this; I haven't been on in awhile. Yes, you'll have to drill the rear fenders. You should see the circles indicating where to drill on the underside of the fender. I just used a hole saw drill bit that matched the size.

    scotland quads

That's really cool. Not many states allow quates on the road here in the USA. I think you should be allowed to take your quad on the road. Could be a nice way to save on gas if you have a shorter commute.

help please my wolverine is smoking

x2. That'll give you an idea of what's going wrong. Cheaper than tearing down the engine to chase down a problem.

    scotland quads

Great pics! I see some of the machines have blinkers. Can ATVs be ridden on the roads legally?

    Older Wolverine Question

Mine makes a decent amount of noise when I get on the throttle. I do have a K&N with a Noss intake in the stock airbox though.

    Carb problemmss

Could be the manifold between the carb and the jug. Check that for cracks...and make sure it's tight.

    Starting Issues!!

You can bypass/jump the soloniod. Just make sure you're in neutral first.

    Best clutch kit

The 350 Wolvie isn't a good machine for mudding. If you want run big tires and hit the deep stuff, you'd be much better off on a big bore machine. It won't be worth the money to try to make the Wolverine something it's not.

    transmission probs

Mine has the same issue. I think there's a reverse lockout arm in the case that's bent. I've never bothered to fix it, because you have to remove the clutch to get to it. I just watch my downshifts. And it makes finding neutral a chore before the engine is up to temp.

    Jetting issues 03 Wolvy

The main jet change won't do anything with your idle. The main jet is the top 25% or so of your RPM range. Basically, your main only effects the top end performance. If you're having an idle issue, try a bigger pilot. If it's mid range, move the needle clip a bit. Bump the pilot up one...

    Wolvy tires

Remember, going up 2" in tire size will only get you 1" more of ground clearance.

    carb for a 95 wolverine?

Was the 95 the first year of the Wolverine? I beleive they used a Warrior carb that year. After that, they switched to a slightly smaller cab. I want to say it helped with the bottom end of the power range.

    99 wolverine 350 cold blooded?

I don't think I've ever messed with my pilot jet. Have you put an inline fuel filter on there just to be safe?

    Not a wolvy.

    Those are fun machines!

    99 wolverine 350 cold blooded?

Mine starts pretty well...even after sitting in the shed during cold weather. When it's warm out, it fires right up. When it starts, does it run OK?

    heel toe shifter

I know this thread is old... Post pics if you can! My machine is tough to upshift in the cold weather...before the engine warms up.

    2002 wolverine prob

Sounds like it's running a bit lean if it won't start without the choke.

    oil

The new ones have a better design. And they have some notches casted on. I'm assuming that's a last resort if the heax strips.

    Rear diff skid plate

A few years back, I bought a really nice rear skid from a member on here. I covers a really large portion of the rear swing arm. The only issue was, I couldn't mount my trailer hitch correctly, it got in the way of the plate. I flipped it upside down and that was fine for occational use...but...
